About TJ
Named one of the Best Wedding Photographers in Kansas City by The Pitch, Zola, Wedding Rule Magazine, and Wedding Pioneer, TJ has an approach that combines photojournalistic documentation along with timeless editing to produce images that are heartfelt and real for the years to come.
His mission is to serve his clients by capturing un-repeatable, emotion-filled, storytelling images — all for the glory of Jesus. He is inspired by family, beautiful light, human interaction, interior design, minimalism, and the desert. TJ fills his free time with pickleball, cooking, traveling, coaching soccer & tennis, bike rides, coffee shops, and more.
TJ is based in Kansas City, where he lives with his wife and son.
This is Us
My high-school sweetheart, Emily and I got married in 2019. We had an intimate ceremony on the Oregon Coast with just our families. No connection to the location, just a dream of a blissful intimate ceremony on the beach. It was perfect. Fast forward a few years, we’ve bought a home, become parents, and live a sweet and simple life here in Kansas City.
