My goal when photographing you two is not to create anything; It’s to document your story. I believe that your photos should be about your day. Your day shouldn’t be about your photos. All of that to say, my desire is to be a fly on the wall documenting the important, emotional, real moments that matter. Sure, I’ll help give you guidance during portraits and we’ll get the classic family photos, but for the most part I’m not giving much direction! You be you, I’ll capture it happening. Simple as that.

I shoot and edit to bring out how the environment actually looked and felt, so if it’s a bright, warm, and colorful day in Palm Springs, the photos will certainly reflect that. Same goes for a cloudy, chilly, and moody day on the Oregon Coast. I want all of my couples to remember exactly how the day looked and felt. I believe my responsibility is to document your day as it was, steering clear of the current trends at the time. I left a few editing examples below!
